  • Polymelia: "...More than the usual number of limbs"

    This twenty minute piece is constructed from audio layers recorded from a heavily modified turntable consisting of three tone arms and four modular synth triggers. As the various parts of the record play across three styli, the modular synth plays various notes based on the responses from the turntable. In addition a series of secret cassettes are played through an old languages tape player and effected by guitar pedals. The whole mix is heavily treated in a wash of delay and reverb and gently ebbs and flows over the twenty minutes.

    Presented as one of ten micro compact disks, this features a section of bespoke artwork taken from a master collage of Rusty drawings circa 84, found photographs, cuttings, student drawings and other found items.
